Partner focus: Mach3 Is Moving Fast in Asia - two standout customer cases

We are pleased to share that Mach3 Engineering is gaining momentum across Asia, supported by strong partnerships and growing interest in our innovative solutions. Our technologies are making a tangible impact—especially in areas where traditional methods have fallen short.

One standout success is the adoption of the Bactiquant technology by a customer in South East Asia. The client turned to Mach3 after realizing that their existing testing methods weren’t accurately detecting bacterial contamination. With its high precision and rapid, reliable results, Bactiquant stood out as the solution of choice.

The technology is now being used to map microbiological growth across the entire asset—from produced water to potable water. This mapping supports smarter, optimized biocide dosing, leading to potential cost savings and better asset protection against microbial threats such as microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC).

In a separate case, another Mach3 client has started using our technology to monitor hydrotesting water—an application that’s becoming a key discussion point in the industry.

Hydrotesting is critical for pipeline integrity, but the water used can become a breeding ground for bacteria if not handled properly. When left in the system, microbial activity can lead to or accelerate corrosion, particularly MIC. Our solution enables real-time monitoring of bacterial levels during hydrotesting, allowing operators to take preventive action early and ensure the long-term reliability of their infrastructure.
